The forums will be down whilst the server's content is migrated by Jon, sometime tonight or tomorrow. Following this, the forums will be put into 'read-only' mode, whilst the DNS changes propagate. After this, the forums will end up - once again - back in read-and-write mode

Dunno if it's about DNS changes, but when you submit a PM it gives you an error. Message is sent, but you get the impression it was not.

What is the error? I'll have a look into it later... and if I can't fix it, I'll blame Jon.

Ok it's very strange. It seems to be only happening when you reply with a quote. Or at least I think so. Try to PM me back with quoting what I sent to you while testing to get that error. Didn't give me any, but you should get one while answering?

right. everything seems to have moved over to the new server nicely so i will not be renewing the old one on monday

I just got the same error screen again when sending a PM to Caspar. Looks like this:

PHP Warning: mail() [<a href='function.mail'>function.mail</a>]: SMTP server response: 501 5.5.4 Invalid Address in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\vmaxsr.com\forum\inc\functions.php on line 374

Just that and nothing else.

It got through tho.

i get that when trying to login the admin cp sometimes. can't figure out why
