I'll test it to see if it's worthy first.

RE: ASR, will you be getting it?

Yes. If I like it/am good at it/it runs well on my laptop, I'll have a stab at the sanctioned league.

Btw, first broadcast can be viewed here

Ordered today Smile

Here's hoping it runs on my laptop. Doubt it though, might need a bit of an upgrade!

Looking forward to it though!

If not, just let me have it... that'll be fine, honestly. I don't mind doing it as a favour, just for you Tongue

ARCA sim racing

Any one tried it yet? I know quite a few of the Open speedway fellas have it and it's been a mixed reception so far. Anyone gonna buy it or know if it's possible to get a hold of in Europe at all.

RE: ARCA sim racing

S'in the post Wink Should arrive at my parents house in a couple of days, but won't get the chance to test it for another 11 days or so when I go back for Easter.

Unfortunately I think it's gonna be too much of a system hog to run on either of my comps til I get an upgrade Sad We'll see.

Looking forward to it though Smile Will let you know as and when.

I posted this on the TRM forums;

RE: ARCA sim racing

Just got back home from uni, and obvz first thing I did after dinner and unpacking my stuff... install ASR and give it a whirl Wink

And initial impressions... pretty impressed actually Smile Had a some pickup races at Pocono and Dega, pretty good fun, along with some offline training at Daytona, Nashville and DuQuoin (NASCAR on dirt = big Big Grin-factor!). Seems to take the best bits of both NR2K3 and rF, and it's not quite as much of a system hog as I was expecting.

Will report more tomorrow once I've delved into it a little bit more.

I'm quite p/o with the way they treat the customers, and how long it's taking to get here. Almost 4 weeks.

RE: ARCA SimRacing

Just to let you all know, I now have ARCA Smile It's not bad, in my opinion. Lacking severly in some areas, but seems decent overall. Going to take it online sometime in the next few days! Smile
