Well some may have already heard of our very frustrating encounter last night. Here's the story for the rest of you. We were parked up on a road wide enough for 3 fire engines side by side, we had the car and tow-a-van parked on the kerb. The road conditions are brilliant, the road is the straightest road in the world.

So we start emptying the tow-a-van and just about five minutes later while we are in someone's house sirens are going. We didn't think much of it so as I was going to put some rubbish in the tow-a-van I noticed an ambulance at the top of the road and I began to think; WTF is going on.

I get to the top of the road to find this
   

I ran down to the house and told me Dad who couldn't believe it. We were fuming, all because of one careless woman who wasn't paying attention she has caused over £10 000s worth of damage. No other car involved she just wasn't looking at the road and well she wasn't exactly adhering to the speed limit

There is no skid marks, she has hit the tow-a-van wheel arch as what ever speed she was doing, tore the front wheel off her own car (takes a good bit to tear a hub clean off a car and leave the pins in perfect condition on the car) and then smashed the side of our car in. In the end the suspension has been torn clean off the tow-a-van trailer and the car is also a write off.

We're wanting her done for driving without due care as we were in the back of that trailer not long before she hit it.

I hope they test her eye sight as I can't believe how someone can't see that thing and why she never braked :s

A slightly up to the whole thing is that the insurance company has given us a brand spanking new Audi A4 as a replacement. They said they'd give us a car of similar quality, we jokingly thought how can you have a rust bucket of a car in your yard to match the 97 Passat

That's unbelievable. Know the road very well, it's uber-wide. Typical of women from Banff tbh! They're as thick as you get... I know first hand, a couple of them were even stupid enough to go out with me.

Well she hit the wheel arch at the side

We are quite lucky she never went stright into the back of it as we wouldn't have been driving home in that car thats for sure

I'd be careful just blaming women, I was nearly nailed at a pedestrian crossing by a dumass bloke on his mobile phone. I had a bit of a pop at him and a woman driving the car behind him laid into him saying he cut her up a few yards before.

There are plenty of morons around, just looks like you were unlucky at recieving the prize for being in that womans sights!

Oh well, A4's are class

Anyway the police phoned us and said that she is being charged with something most likely driving wrecklessly or without due care.
