Well, he lifts jsut as he gets onto Conrod, and backs off the power, so im curious as to what we are being shown. They are clearly vastly different cars. To gain that much on some of them is silly, cant possibly be the same, unless he's like an instructor and is showing some people whove never driven the track before how and where you can pass. But i doubt it!

Yeah, first time I saw it I was a bit skeptic too, the difference is so big between this driver and all other drivers. Still some of the passes are pretty hair-raising. Few passes he did could just as well ended in a crash if not they had moved over a bit for him.

Impressive! Can't be a different car, I think it's just setup better. Down the first straight you can see him losing places with lack of speed. I think he's just a guru around there and hit the sweet spot with his car setup. Some of the passing moves were a tad on the aggressive side though.

Nah I reckon it's the same car. The thing you have to remember is these people are probably racing in a class where they are spending their own money on the cars and spares. He just looks to be a far better driver and is pushing a lot harder. Believe me if you go to hill climbs you'll see some people with lots of moneys worth who are too scared / can't drive it. To me it's highlighted when people are braking coming up to a corner and then letting off and braking again, you don't do that.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was a proffessional driver in a field of clubbies. Classes like that tend to have a car they invite "celebs" to drive.
