Anyways I thought starting this thread if something comes up in the races which would be fun to discuss. At least for me the season started perfectly with Kenseth winning Daytona 500! Lots of luck involved with the right timed rain, but he did good throughout the race.

Its taking shape and already is comfortable, i just have to figure out a way of attaching the bottom legs to the base by maybe drilling through and welding or something....and then maybe a chrome chevy logo or something to fill the hole where the Stand came out.]]>

I've been invited by Peo to race for the team in Swedish Sim Racers' GTR Evolution league.

My online simracing career, starting in 2005, has so far mainly been in the F1BB Formula 1 league. But as time has progressed I have more and more enjoyed driving other cars than F1 cars, although F1 has always been my number 1 priority.

rFactor have been my main game in recent years but nowadays I also spend time with GTR Evolution. I race with the G25 wheel.

As a driver, my best quality is probably consistency and not making mistakes. Usually I can move up a couple of places as I let others do the mistakes. I drive hard but fair and if there is a chance to advance up the field, I'll take it.

Now I should put down how I will benefit the vMaxSR team.....
Well I am quite slow actually so I will not bring in to many points. I am very bad on making setups so there I get a 0 as well. I smile a lot :D (is that enough?). I am joining the team because I have been driving together with Peo in the F1BB F1 league togheter with Macke T and Goteman whom just joined and he offered me to join.

Peo has always been organising events and sharing knowledge as well as beeing blistering fast so it is an honour for me to be in the same team for the swedish simracers GTR Evo league.

Van driver was indicating to turn left into the junction, I checked and double checked both ways then decided to go. Noticed he wasn’t slowing down and stopped with my front wheels roughly in the middle of the two giveway stripes. Still plenty of room to get passed but nope, he took the front of my car with his front corner. Most of the damage to mine came from his wheel. Van didn’t appear to have much damage, apart from probably a damaged front left steering arm. Guy was a complete ass, point blankly denying the fact he was indicating left even after a witness came over and said he was. I also question how much attention he was paying in that van as there was plenty of space. A passing policeman stopped and asked what had happened, guy went off on a rant and the policeman wasn’t interested. A sore lesson to learn not to trust people indicating, only upside is I’m fully comp but I’ll lose my years no claims.

My boss towed me home (15 miles) and the car still feels fine. No damage to the engine, still runs but the fan belt is catching on some bodywork. Dad reckons it’s repairable, we’ll just have to play it by ear and see what the most viable option is.
